Neighbourhood names are not district names
People in Istanbul usually type the neighbourhood they know rather than the official district: Nişantaşı instead of Şişli, Moda instead of Kadıköy, Ataköy instead of Bakırköy. When you choose a service area in your profile you work with districts, while customers search with neighbourhood names. We close that gap with the profile description, service texts and pages on your website that mention neighbourhood names naturally.
Office towers, malls and old commercial buildings
Many Istanbul businesses are located on a floor of an office tower, inside a shopping mall or in an old commercial building. The same building can appear under different names in directories, with block and floor details written in a different order. The map pin may land on the wrong side of the building; the customer follows directions but cannot find the entrance. Our first step is to bring every online record of your address to a single spelling, move the pin to the entrance and add photos that show the way in.
Two sides of the city and a realistic service area
Businesses that travel to customers — plumbers, locksmiths, movers, home cleaning — like to list all of Istanbul as their service area. But every job where bridge traffic makes you late on the other side can come back to your profile as a bad review. We recommend limiting the service area to districts your team can reach on time and handling the other side with a separate plan.
Competitor profiles that break the rules
In highly competitive categories you will find profiles with keywords stuffed into the business name or opened at addresses where the business does not really exist. These go against Google's business profile guidelines and can be reported to Google. We do not take the same route; we keep your profile within the rules and report clear violations with evidence.
