Frequently asked questions
What does ROAS mean and how is it calculated?
ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) shows how many times your ad spend comes back as revenue: revenue ÷ ad spend. If you spent ₺10,000 and made ₺45,000 in revenue, your ROAS is 4.5x — every ₺1 of advertising brought in ₺4.50 of revenue.
If my ROAS is high, am I making a profit?
Not necessarily. ROAS measures revenue, not profit. If your profit margin is low, even a high ROAS can mean a loss: a business working on a 30% margin loses money at a 1.25x ROAS. That is why the calculator also asks for your margin.
What is the difference between ROI and ROAS?
ROAS looks at revenue (revenue ÷ spend), while ROI looks at the net return: (revenue − spend) ÷ spend. A 4.5x ROAS equals a 350% ROI.
What is break-even revenue for?
It is the lowest revenue you need for your ad spend to pay for itself: spend ÷ profit margin. Any revenue below this figure is a loss; it is the clearest threshold when deciding on a budget.
